Axe throwing with dedicated instructors and friendly competitions — private corporate sessions Tue–Fri near Connolly Station, with optional pizza and drinks.
Axe Club Dublin runs coached axe-throwing sessions near Connolly Station — instructors teach proper technique, run practice rounds, and finish with a friendly competition to crown the day’s champion. It is a high-energy, low-skill-barrier activity that works equally well for competitive teams and groups who just want something memorable.
Open drop-in sessions cost €26 per person for one hour (ages 12+, minimum height 1.5 m), with up to 20 people per session. Private corporate sessions run Tuesday to Friday only: groups of 6 to 30 get a dedicated instructor and range for 90 minutes at €38 per person (inc. VAT), with optional pizza, unlimited drinks, and prizes available when booking. Private open-session blocks start from €350 for up to 14 people. Groups above 30 can be arranged by email, up to 60.
The venue is a short walk from Connolly Station in Dublin city centre — convenient for teams based in the Docklands, IFSC, or north inner city. Soft drinks and coffee are available on site during open sessions.
Axe throwing puts everyone on equal footing quickly — few colleagues arrive with prior experience, so the playing field levels fast. The coached competition format gives natural talking points without forced team-building exercises.
